Szymon Walkowski

Member of the Management Board of Rafineria Gdańska Sp. z o.o. since September 2026.

A graduate of the University of Gdańsk and Gdańsk University of Technology, where he completed a master’s degree in management. He also completed the Executive MBA programme at Kozminski University in Warsaw.

He has more than 15 years of professional experience in the energy sector, including over 10 years in managerial positions. His experience covers district heating, business development, energy efficiency, strategy and corporate transformation.

He began his professional career with TAURON Group, where he worked from 2010 to 2013. He subsequently held managerial positions at Gdańskie Przedsiębiorstwo Energetyki Cieplnej. From 2017 to 2019, he served as Development Director at ENGIE EC Słupsk.

He joined LOTOS Group in 2019, initially as Head of the Energy Efficiency Office, where he was responsible for continuously improving the energy efficiency of refinery units. In 2022, he continued his career at Rafineria Gdańska, successively serving as Director of Efficiency, Director of Efficiency and Strategy, and Director of Strategy and Transformation.

He speaks Polish and English.
