Grzegorz Orzeszko

Graduate of the Faculty of Fuels and Energy at the AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków. Chemical technologist with a specialisation in fuel technology. He became involved in the petroleum industry already during his studies by writing his diploma thesis at the then Institute of Petroleum Technology, where he later became an intern. In 2016, he completed his MBA at the Gdansk Foundation for Management Education.
He started his career in 2003 at LOTOS Group as an operator and later as a controller at the Fuel Plant. In 2005, he joined the newly established Technical Office PKRT (from Polish: Program Kompleksowego Rozwoju Technicznego - LOTOS Group Comprehensive Technical Development Programme, later renamed the 10+ Programme). In 2010, he joined the Hydrocracking Plant as Deputy Plant Manager, and then in 2015 he took the position of Hydrocracking Plant Manager with overall responsibility for the Plant. In 2017, he took up the newly created position of Director of Production Efficiency, Environmental Protection and Health and Safety, later renamed as Director of Production Safety, Efficiency and Development. He was a member of the following corporate teams: Investment Committee, Risk Management Committee, Explosion Safety Committee, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of LOTOS Serwis 2017-2020. In 2020, he left the LOTOS Group.
In 2021, he was appointed as Member of the Management Board and in 2022 as President of the Management Board of the Waste Treatment Plant in Gdańsk, which is one of the most modern and largest waste treatment plants in Poland.
