During the Ninth Autostrada-Polska Trade Fair in Kielce, LOTOS Asfalt won a medal for its bitumen modified with rubber.

The innovativeness of this product and its excellent properties in practical application won recognition during the Autostrada-Polska trade fair in the Technology category. Rubber-modified bitumen was the only bitumen product to have obtained an award.

It is a new product on the Polish market. The LOTOS Group's refinery in Gdańsk is the first in Poland to manufacture bitumen modified with rubber from recycled tyres. The technology implemented by LOTOS allows for a broad range of applications for the product in the laying of road surfaces. Laboratory research has confirmed that the new bitumen is characterised by excellent properties.

The Autostrada-Polska trade fair is one of the most prestigious events in the road construction industry and a meeting point for industry leaders and top industry brands. During the three days from May 21st to May 24th, the exhibition, presented on 30,000 square metres of space, was visited by 20,000 specialists, businessmen, investors and contractors.
