MODBIT 45/80-55 CR
General information
Rubber binders can be applied to replace standard modified bitumens after the verification of the technical specifications and of all the properties of a mineral-asphalt mixture according to a model recipe required under domestic regulations.
Basic bitumen with rubber addition applied in the binder MODBIT 45/80-55 CR extends the viscosity scope of the asphalt. The effect is visible mostly in functional property tests, where the parameters of a mineral-asphalt mixture after ageing and at low temperatures are more favourable than in a mixture made of road bitumen and PMB. It complies with PN-EN 14023:2011/Ap1:2014-04.
